Work Type:

Full Time

Location:

Melbourne - VIC

  •
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Health & Injury Management Lead to drive the evolution of injury management and occupational health across a complex, national, multi-site business.

This is a genuine transformation role. You will reset and reposition the function — strengthening systems and processes, refining governance, and ensuring consistent, high-quality case management across all jurisdictions.

The role leads return-to-work and injury management nationally, provides oversight of the Drug & Alcohol program, contributes to psychosocial and mental health initiatives, and supports telehealth services.
The role will focus on both managing injuries but also pro-active injury prevention strategies. A key focus will be to improve the injury prevention strategies across the business.

Key Focus Areas
  • Establish a clear national injury management strategy and governance framework
  • Strengthen stakeholder engagement across operational leadership
  • Partner closely with HSE Business Partners to align safety and injury priorities
  • Scope and commence meaningful injury prevention initiatives
  • Embed consistent reporting, visibility and accountability across all sites
  • Manage insurer relationships across 18 workers’ compensation policies
About You

You are more than a case manager — you are a strategic operator who can bring genuine horsepower to the function.

You will bring:
  • Demonstrated experience leading injury management in a national, multi-site environment
  • Strong working knowledge of workers’ compensation across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experience uplifting systems, governance and reporting frameworks
  • Confidence influencing senior operational and executive leaders
  • Capability to shift a function from reactive case management to proactive prevention
  • Commercial awareness and comfort using data to inform decision-making
If you are ready to reposition and elevate injury management and occupational health within a transforming national business, we welcome your application.
