About the Client
We are partnering with a well known Australian organisation with a strong national footprint in manufacturing. The business is entering a significant phase of transformation and is investing in lifting Health and Safety capability across all operations. This newly created role will play a critical part in strengthening foundations, improving performance and shaping a contemporary approach to Health and Safety.
  
Key Responsibilities:-
  • Lead and embed contemporary WHS systems and frameworks
  • Improve Health and Safety performance, reporting quality and data integrity
  • Uplift Injury Management and Return to Work outcomes
  • Partner closely with operational leaders to build ownership and capability
  • Provide clear, confident Health and Safety advice at executive and board level
  • Support ongoing plant, equipment and facility upgrades
  • Balance modern Health and Safety practices in a practical, operationally grounded way
About You
You will thrive in this role if you are a Health and Safety professional who is motivated by the opportunity to reset, rebuild and shape the future. You enjoy being close to operations, strengthening foundations and lifting capability in environments where transformation is underway. You are confident leading from the front, bringing clarity, structure and a practical approach to a business on a growth trajectory.
  
You’ll Bring:-
  • Strong technical capability across WHS, Injury Management and Return to Work
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial or other high risk operational environments
  • Confidence operating in low to mid maturity Health and Safety settings
  • A practical, grounded approach with strong influencing and coaching skills
  • The ability to communicate clearly with frontline teams and senior leaders
  • Comfort working in a regional setting or willingness to relocate
