The Opportunity
This is a hands on leadership role for someone who enjoys building, not just maintaining.
You will lead the reset of Health and Safety across manufacturing operations, lifting performance, strengthening capability and embedding clear, usable systems that support the business through change.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, embed and mature contemporary WHS systems and frameworks
- Reset core Health and Safety foundations, improving performance, reporting and data integrity
- Strengthen Injury Management and Return to Work frameworks and outcomes
- Partner with operational leaders to build ownership, confidence and capability
- Provide clear, pragmatic advice to senior leadership and Board stakeholders
- Support site, equipment and facility upgrades through a strong risk lens
- Balance modern Health and Safety thinking with practical, operational delivery
You are a grounded Health and Safety leader who does your best work in environments that need clarity, structure and momentum.
You are comfortable stepping into low to mid maturity settings and know how to bring people on the journey while setting clear expectations. You are as confident on the floor as you are in front of executives, and you enjoy leaving things better than you found them.
You Will Bring
- Strong capability across WHS, Injury Management and Return to Work
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial or other high-risk environments
- A track record of lifting Health and Safety performance in evolving businesses
- A practical approach with strong coaching and influencing skills
- The ability to communicate with impact at all levels of the business
- Openness to regional living, or a genuine interest in relocating for lifestyle and career
