ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a true business partnering role supporting a portfolio of approximately 15 sites across Melbourne's metro east region. 

Working closely with frontline leaders, the Health & Safety Business Partner plays a key role in strengthening safety capability, supporting risk management activities and embedding consistent health, safety and wellbeing practices across the region.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Partnering with operational leaders to provide practical, proactive health and safety advice
  • Supporting incident investigations and ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively
  • Analysing safety data, trends and insights to support continuous improvement
  • Participating in audits, safety committees and working group meetings
  • Contributing to national safety initiatives and improvement programs
Working arrangements include
  • Hybrid working model
  • Approximately three days per week onsite across Melbourne metro locations
  • One day per week based in the Melbourne office (Burnley)
ABOUT YOU
You are a confident, people-focused health and safety professional who enjoys partnering with operational leaders and adapting your approach across varying levels of safety maturity.
You are comfortable working autonomously, bring strong emotional intelligence, and understand how to influence positive safety outcomes in a regulated environment.
You will bring:
  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or Diploma of WHS
  • Experience in a Health & Safety Advisor or Business Partner role
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and coaching capability
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends and translate insights into action
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Experience within healthcare, aged care, not-for-profit or similarly regulated industries will be highly regarded but not essential.
