Based at our award-winning Bunjil Place headquarters, you will partner with leaders across the organisation to embed physical and psychological safety into everyday decision-making and deliver lasting benefits for our people, organisation and community.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will provide enterprise-wide leadership across health, safety, wellbeing, injury management and workers compensation. You'll lead the continued uplift of governance, risk management, psychosocial safety and leadership accountability while establishing a high-performing Health, Safety & Wellbeing Centre of Excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading the delivery of Health, Safety & Wellbeing strategy.
  • Strengthening safety governance, assurance and compliance frameworks.
  • Driving a proactive approach to critical risk management and psychosocial safety.
  • Enhancing injury management, return-to-work and workers compensation performance.
  • Building leadership capability and embedding a strong, learning-focused safety culture.
  • Using data and insights to improve safety outcomes and organisational resilience.
About You

You are an accomplished safety leader who combines strategic thinking with operational excellence. You have demonstrated experience leading health, safety and wellbeing functions in complex organisations and can influence leaders at all levels to drive accountability and meaningful change.
You will bring:
  • Expertise across WHS governance, risk management, psychosocial safety and injury management.
  • A track record of building safety culture and improving organisational risk maturity.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capability.
  • The credibility, courage and judgement to lead complex conversations and deliver sustainable outcomes.
