About the Role

A rare leadership opportunity to shape safety and wellbeing across a growing, future-focused organisation delivering large-scale renewable energy and infrastructure projects.

As the Head of Safety & Wellbeing, you will lead the strategy, systems, and cultural transformation required to support the safe development, delivery, and operation of complex assets. You’ll work closely with executives and the Board to drive a high-performing, safety-first culture aligned to ambitious sustainability and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver the safety & wellbeing strategy, policies, and annual plans
  • Establish and embed safety management systems and compliance frameworks
  • Provide expert advice to executives on risk, legislation, and performance
  • Lead incident response, risk assessments, audits, and inspections
  • Build governance structures, including safety committees and reporting frameworks
  • Manage psychosocial risks and promote a psychologically safe workplace
About You
You are a seasoned safety leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels, bringing strong influence, credibility, and commercial insight.

You will bring:
  • Proven experience in safety & wellbeing leadership
  • Experience engaging with executives and Boards
  • Strong knowledge of OHS legislation and regulatory frameworks
  • Experience building and embedding safety systems and culture
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and investigative capability
