ABOUT THE ROLE
The Head of Health & Safety A&NZ sets the vision and leads the strategy for all Health & Safety activity across the organisation and partner network. This is a true dual role, combining strategic influence with practical operational engagement across an active, diverse portfolio.
  
Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing strategic guidance and expert advice to the Board and senior executives
  • Developing and implementing operational safety frameworks that foster a strong, proactive safety culture
  • Proactively monitoring emerging risks and driving effective mitigation strategies
  • Partnering with stakeholders to ensure compliance and lift capability across the business
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships to support integrated, organisation wide safety outcomes
  • Championing innovation, continuous improvement and value creation in safety practice
ABOUT YOU
  • Proven success in a senior Health & Safety leadership role, ideally in property, construction, infrastructure, or similarly complex environments
  • Ability to operate confidently at both strategic and operational levels
  • Highly developed influencing and relationship building skills
  • Experience within large, complex and high performance organisations
  • Strong strategic mindset supported by technical depth and commercial acumen
  • Extensive experience preparing and presenting material to Boards and external stakeholders
