Safety is an important part of this work. With a large network of stores, delivery drivers and operational teams, there are a range of safety challenges to manage across different countries and operating environments.
This is an opportunity to join Domino’s Pizza Enterprises in a newly created Group Safety Lead role, working across 12 countries and a large, diverse operational network.
The role will suit a safety professional who is ready to broaden their experience and take on greater responsibility across a large international organisation. You will work closely with senior leaders and safety teams across different markets, helping to develop consistent approaches to safety, improve reporting and governance, and share good practice across the business.
It is a role where you can use your existing safety experience while continuing to develop your leadership, stakeholder management and international experience.
About the Role
Reporting initially to the Group CEO, the Group Safety Lead will provide safety leadership and subject matter expertise across 12 countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe.
You will work with local safety and operational teams to help develop the Group Safety Strategy, improve governance and reporting, and support a more consistent approach to managing risk.
The role will cover areas including delivery and road safety, fleet and driver risk, safety capability, risk management, reporting and sharing better ways of working across the organisation.
You won't be expected to do this through a large team. Much of the role will involve working with people across the business, building relationships, providing practical advice and helping local teams identify opportunities to improve.
This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys working with operational teams and wants to gain broader experience across a complex, international organisation.
About You
You will have a background in health and safety and be comfortable working with operational leaders and teams. You may currently be working as a Safety Manager, Senior Safety Advisor, HSE Business Partner or in a similar role and be looking for an opportunity to take the next step.
You will be someone who can build relationships, communicate clearly and turn safety requirements into practical solutions. You don't need to have worked in a global organisation before, but experience across multiple sites, jurisdictions or operational environments would be useful.
Experience in QSR, retail, transport, logistics, franchising, consumer services, aviation, infrastructure or other operationally intensive environments would be relevant. Exposure to road, driver, rider or fleet safety would also be well regarded.
Most importantly, you will be curious, practical and comfortable working with different people and perspectives. You will enjoy being part of a business where you can see the impact of your work and continue developing your own leadership capability.
