This is a high-impact leadership role where you will shape enterprise-wide safety strategy, strengthen governance, and board-level insight across a complex national operation.

The Opportunity
Reporting into the CPO, you will drive a step-change in how safety is led, measured, and embedded across the business. You’ll bring structure and clarity to how safety is governed, reported, and embedded across the business.

Key Deliverables
  • Establish a contemporary safety governance framework and operating rhythm
  • Optimise structure, capability, and performance of the safety function
  • Elevate executive and Board reporting with clear, actionable insights
  • Strengthen incident investigation, assurance, and risk visibility
  • Embed accountability and uplift leadership capability across safety and wellbeing
About You
  • Senior safety leader from heavy industry (energy, construction, infrastructure)
  • Proven ability to operate at both Board and operational level
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, delivery-focused approach
  • Skilled in simplifying complexity and driving organisational alignment
  • Strong influencer with the credibility to lead change in a dynamic environment
