About the Role
- Provide strategic leadership and expert guidance in health & safety contractor management across the business
- Ensure the requirements of the Contractor Management Framework (CMF) are implemented and expanded to cover all service streams
- Lead and support implementation of the contractor management framework, including prequalification, onboarding, compliance monitoring, performance reviews, and offboarding processes
- Shape health & safety frameworks and systems that influence the whole organisation
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes, analytics, and reporting to elevate risk visibility and mitigation
- Support risk assessments, incident investigations, assurance activities and mitigation planning
- Drive improvements in contractor health & safety practices through collaboration and training
- An experienced senior health & safety professional with extensive experience in multisite operations and contractor-intensive environments, including major projects
- Skilled in risk assessment, incident management, and complex risk mitigation solutions.
- Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders, especially senior leadership.
- Capable of developing and improving contractor management systems and frameworks.
- Strong communicator with coaching and training capability, and high data literacy to support analytics and reporting.
