Chris leads the Melbourne team at The Safe Step, with coverage for the VIC, SA & TAS region. He works closely with The Safe Step’s national consulting team, as well as our Strategic Advisory division, and our sibling brand The Next Step, to drive comprehensive talent solutions across the HSE and HR industry.

He has 15 years’ Executive Search, Talent Acquistion and Consulting experience, with a successful track record leading senior, corporate recruitment and partnering with business leaders to deliver key appointments.

Chris' background is in market-leading, ASX-listed, and global companies, and he has worked with a diverse range of large, complex organisations, building sustainable, long-term relationships. He combines his career experience, leadership capability, and search expertise, to deliver on regional and national HSE recruitment assignments and large-scale talent projects.

With a strong industry network and deep understanding of the HSE market developed over several years, Chris knows the impact that effective Safety, Health & Wellbeing, and Sustainability functions have on people, risk management, and organisational performance.
