Based in Melbourne, Cate is the Principal Consultant for The Safe Step's Southern Region (VIC, SA and Tasmania), specialising in placing senior HSE, Risk and Environment professionals in contract and permanent positions.

 

Cate holds over 25 years’ experience in search and talent acquisition with 15 years specialising within health, safety and environment across all industries within Australia and New Zealand. 

 

Cate has led and coached high performing teams, managed projects including major talent acquisition drives and reviewed and improved talent on-boarding practices and processes. 

 

Cate continuously delivers, for both clients and candidates through her sound judgment, attention to detail, energy and relentless focus on results. 

 

Outside of work Cate enjoys spending time with her boys and menagerie of pets (Dog, Cat and turtle). Cate is also a keen snow skier and traveller, and the current President of a ski Lodge (Mt Hotham).
